SUBSTRATES
Concrete render, rendered brickwork, plaster board, fibre cement (walls only) Green Screeds, and SAS approved waterproofing membranes.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be clean, dry, firm and free of dust, oil, grease, wax and curing compounds. The substrate must be installed according to the relevant standards and manufacturer recommendations. All porous surfaces must be primed with SAS Master Primer. For non porous surfaces such as existing tiles, surface must be primed using SAS Master primer neat. MIXING
Mix 5.5 to 6 Litres of water to 20kg of Tradies Choice Master Flex Eco. Mix with a paddle mixer until a creamy consistency is achieved, and powder is free of lumps. Allow mixture to stand for 3 minutes, remix then use the adhesive.
INSTALLATION
Tiles should be fixed in accordance with Australian Standard AS 3958.1-2007 Apply the adhesive using a notched trowel onto the substrate. For tiles up to 300 x 300 mm use a 10mm notch trowel, and for Tiles greater than 400 x 400 use a 12mm notch trowel on the substrate and butter the back of each tile. Apply only up to 1m2 at a time. Press the tiles firmly into the adhesive before it skins. Do not spot fix, remove all excess adhesive from the tiles before it sets.
